Alfaisal University – Prince Sultan College of Business adopts the semester credit hours system. Each academic year is divided into two semesters (Fall and Spring) consist of sixteen weeks; and a summer session that is offered annually. Each course is offered with a number (usually between one credit hour to three credit hours) depending on the scope of the course.

The normal duration of the course of study at Alfaisal University – Prince Sultan College of Business may vary according to each program’s requirements. However, a student must not exceed seven years excluding the period spent in the University Preparatory Program (UPP).

The academic study plans for undergraduate students in each department are based on the student’s completion of a minimum of 126 credit hours before being able to graduate. The courses for each study plan should be chosen from the Alfaisal University – Prince Sultan College of Business core curriculum, department requirements, program requirements (Major), and electives.

 

All courses at Alfaisal University – Prince Sultan College of Business will be taught in English. Alfaisal University – Prince Sultan College of Business will maintain flexibility in its fields of study and curricular design in order to attract highly qualified students with diverse agendas and backgrounds.

 

To graduate from Alfaisal University – Prince Sultan College of Business, student must complete a minimum of 126 credits of work in a bachelor’s degree program with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 on a 4 point scale. The graduation ceremony is held each academic year at the end of the second semester (Spring).

Students must apply for graduation by filing an application to graduate form at the beginning of the graduating semester. Requests for graduating are reviewed by the Registration Department to verify completion of the degree requirements. Student is typically expected to apply for graduation the semester prior to the semester in which they expect to be awarded a degree. Student who wishes to withdraw from graduation or make changes to the graduation application should notify the Registration Department in writing. Student who withdraws his graduation application or fail to meet degree requirements must reapply to graduate in a subsequent semester.
